Reverse the drive from Ontario, Oregon to Seattle and that is what we did today. Minus the insane winds. I don't know about you, but sometimes for me a road already traveled can be quite boring. We did, however have a task to keep us focused (and somewhat behind schedule). We had to find a Washington State key chain for Olivia's collection (I'll post about that later) before we exited the state. That turned out to be harder that it sounds, and involved lotsandlotsandlots of gas stations. But, as luck will have it, we did finally find one. In Oregon!
Did you know that it is illegal to pump your own gas in the state of Oregon? There is always a nice gentleman/woman at the ready to fill'er up and clean the windshield. Just like the old days.
Seven hours on the road and still looking good!
We've been in the car sooooo long.
Grandma Ginnie lives in Halfway, Oregon, which is about 60 miles up winding mountain roads from Baker, Oregon. This is the view as we crested the summit and dropped into the valley.
We're here!
