Now, for the urban portion of our trip.....
We drove into Seattle to visit the Burke Museum of Natural History on the University of Washington campus. The Burke is small, but packed with exhibits. If you like dinosaurs and fossils, this is the place for you!
You can't visit the Northwest without enjoying a totem or two
Portage Bay is to the east on the drive north. Microsoft is off in the distance somewhere.
Lake Union is to the west. Hello Space Needle! (southbound)
This is got to be the coolest REI on the planet! Check out the climbing wall!
Just a quick trip. Hopefully we will make it back soon.
